Grant Requirements
Requirements
To be eligible for support from the Funder Collaborative, an applicant must:
- Be a public charity recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Ensure that all project activities will take place in the City of Philadelphia, and/or Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montogomery County, Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrate that the project is designed to advance the
Guiding Principles of the Funder Collaborative.
Recommendations
In addition, the Funder Collaborative strongly encourages:
- Collaborative projects that involve jointly developed programs among multiple institutional partners.
- Projects that are directly, rather than incidentally, tied to the Semiquincentennial commemoration.
- Projects for which the residents of the greater Philadelphia region are the primary audience.
